Ceiling of a class room
One huge window. One piece of glass.
We visited another construction site today, but it wasn’t just “another” site. This building, a new RMIT University building, is full of odd, yet fantastic, architectural oddities that I’ve never seen before. We were guided through classrooms, offices, lecture halls, a cinema, and new lecture halls built in a way that students can both interact, and be lectured, at the same time. Every turn was a surprise as we explored all 12 stories of this amazing architectural feat. The approximately 200 million dollar project will be completed in July, and I can’t wait to see the finished product. The project manager that gave us the tour, described each aspect of the building in full detail, painting us a picture of each grand room.
